Lecture: 'Swords, helmets and crosses: The Lichfield Staffordshire Hoard', by Dr Kevin Leahy

Dr Kevin Leahy, (FSA, MIFA, National Adviser, Early Medieval Metalwork, The Portable Antiquities Scheme, The British Museum), gives an enlightening and truly absorbing lecture on the Staffordshire Hoard of Anglo-Saxon gold and silver, currently the principal campaign of The Art Fund. Dr Leahy and his wife were responsible for preparing the catalogue of the finds before they were moved to the British Museum and writing the guide book. Dr Leahy is both an expert and a gifted speaker and we are fortunate to have him lecture us.
