| Museum of Liverpool
A monstrosity or an exciting new building to take Liverpool into the 21st century? Come and find out for yourselves in a hard-hat tour of the new Museum of Liverpool which is currently under construction at the Pier Head in Liverpool. The Museum of Liverpool is the new national museum for the people of Liverpool and will provide 8,000 square metres of public space across three floors. Visitors will have access to over 6,000 objects which are currently in store, many of which have never been on public display before.
All visitors must wear trousers and will be required to wear safety boots, a hard hat, a high-visibility tabard and gloves (all provided by National Museums Liverpool) at all times while on the Museum of Liverpool site. Please note that while the Museum of Liverpool is still an active building site, the upper floors are accessible by steps only.
There is limited parking available at the Albert Dock. The nearest car parks are located in the Liverpool ONE complex.
