Visit: Behind the Scenes at the Museum of London

This is a rare chance for lovers of historical textiles to go behind the scenes at the costume and fashion department at the Museum of London and see some of the superb costumes which are not normally on view to the public. Senior Curator Hilary Davidson talks about the history, conservation and mounting of the museum’s 18th-century dress collection, which includes the amazing Fanshaw dress, worn at court by the Lord Mayor of London’s daughter in 1752.
