Collection of artworks offering a unique insight into the experience of the Holocaust.

The artist was deported from Prague with her mother to Theresienstadt in April 1942, to Auschwitz in December 1943, into Germany as slave labour in July 1944, and finally to Bergen-Belsen in April 1945, where they were later liberated by British troops. Whenever she had art materials, Marianne painted and sketched what she saw around her, including other detainees, living conditions, and dead bodies. She now lives in Glasgow.
