Surfaces of the barrel and lock are chiselled in relief and gilt.
Muzzle of barrle formed of a monster's head. Lock decorated with a satyr and monsters. Stock is walnut inlaid with stag horn and mother of pearl - foliage patterning. Despite German inscription, decoration is French style, as is wheel-lock.
