Although these features are by no means unusual in Storr's work, they are much less well known than his handsome neo-classical style of design. Each of the three compartments of the body of the jug is enriched with a naturalistic flower-spray. The handle is formed of a piece of branch joined to the body by a clump of leaves, and the knop to the lid consists of a flower and leaves, all well modelled and delicately finished with chasing.
