As well as several hundred pieces of Japanese and Chinese ceramics dating from the 16th century to the present day, this collection includes seven works of Japanese painting.
A highlight of the collection is a six-panel folding screen titled Plum Tree by the early 19th-century Nanga painter Sugai Baikan.
