Collection of six pieces of Sumerian and Babylonian sculpture from an early prehistoric period down to about 1900 BC.

1) Iranian chlorite basin decorated with mythological scenes in relief including the figure of a man taming two spotted snakes, 11.4 x 17.8cm (main illustration); 2) Open bowl of steatite; 3) Copper/bronze figure of naked woman; 4) Copper/bronze goat; 5) Clay plaque with lion; 6) Clay plaque of a hunter and a monkey in a tree.
