Chapter cinema and theatre

Family-friendly things to do

Families are welcomed with open arms, with places for little ones to play and free colouring materials from the Information Desk. The cinema offers low-cost family screenings and screenings for parents with babies under 12 months. The theatre showcases family-friendly performances year-round. And there are a range of free events, crafty workshops and creative classes to keep children entertained and inspired.

Refuel at the lively caffi bar with delicious food and drink and check out the community garden for an al fresco dining experience.

As a Museum of the Year 2025 finalist, Chapter is offering all Art Fund members £5 tickets to theatre and cinema events on presentation of their National Art Pass between 29 April and 26 June.
