Celebrating the work of d/Deaf and disabled artists from across the rural South West.
OPEN emerged from an open call designed to provide a platform for artists in the region, with submissions considered through an open selection process involving representatives from Newlyn Art Gallery & The Exchange, John Hansard Gallery, and DASH.
The selected artists, Jane Knight, Edie Evans, Lilly Bertrand-Webb, Patricia Dixon, Nick Ivins, Dolly Kershaw, Alexa Inwood, Carrie Mason, Sian Cann and Ben Davies, work across a diverse range of practices and media. The exhibition is a celebration of the extraordinarily artists and artworks produced across the region.
Images: examples of work by participating artists. These works will not necessarily be included in the exhibition.
