The National Gallery Masterpiece Tour brings a Monet masterpiece to Hull.
Every year, the National Gallery partners with organisations and audiences across the UK to ensure that everyone in Britain can engage with their national collection.
At Ferens Art Gallery, The National Gallery Masterpiece Tour: Monet will present Monet’s The Petit Bras of the Seine at Argenteuil (1872). The painting captures a quiet winter day on the outskirts of Argenteuil, with the river reflecting the sky and trees and only a hint of the town’s developing bustle behind a screen of foliage.
The exhibition is co-curated with Flourish, the gallery’s creative group for children and young people, and designed with disabled and neurodivergent audiences in mind.
