This interdisciplinary installation and performance celebrates the extraordinary creativity of Antonia Jabloner (1908-2022).
Born in Austria, Antonia Jabloner (1908-2022) came to the North East of Scotland as a refugee after the outbreak of the Second World War. The exhibition is inspired by sketchbook drawings Jabloner produced during her long-term confinement in psychiatric care in Aberdeen. Entitled ‘Plans for Another World’, the drawings detail her ideal spaces for creative expression.
This interdisciplinary installation and performance by Cath Keay (sculpture), Emma Bowen (film) and Victoria Hume (music) celebrates the extraordinary creativity of Jabloner.
