“The Lelung lineage is one of the most important and interesting in all of Tibet.” — Richard Gere

This exhibition explores the Lelung lineage, one of Tibet’s oldest and most respected spiritual traditions. The Eleventh Lelung Rinpoche, recognised by His Holiness the Fourteenth Dalai Lama, continues a line of teachers that has lasted for over 700 years. Educated at Drepung Monastic University in exile, he works to share and renew the wisdom of his predecessors for today’s world.

Through rare writings, sacred art, and the living tradition, visitors can discover how each rebirth keeps Tibetan Buddhist faith and learning alive.
