Aphra represents emotional responses to present and future ‘inner landscapes’ through a combination of decisive and ethereal mark making, exploring through these forms what it is to exist within her mind.
From belonging to a person, a place, a time or the feeling of not yet having a place, these sentiments all carry visual markers and are waiting to be creatively composed.
