Blending sculpture, radio and live events, dream of new futures in this immersive exhibition by Tai Shani.
Marvel at The Spell by Tai Shani, a monumental sculpture that lies at the heart of the exhibition and features a new soundscape by composer Maxwell Sterling. This immersive installation examines the present catastrophes we are living through, while offering dreams of a future where resistance and renewal triumph.
Alongside this Art Fund supported work is The Dream radio station, a global broadcast that will run 24/7 for the exhibition's duration. Shani has invited a group of creatives and writers – including Yanis Varoufakis, Brian Eno, Hannah Black and The Palestinian Sound Archive – to offer an alternative vision of the future. And, three new commissions by Cécile B Evans, Moor Mother and Cecilia Vicuña will air on the channel.
