A sensory journey through autism, art and the digital world.
What does it mean to grow up online with autism? The exhibition Voyager 2000: Worldbeing & Wonder? answers this question through an immersive mix of video, sculpture, animation, photography and sound – shaped by the lived experiences of autistic and disabled people.
Where many exhibitions explore technology through themes of risk and surveillance, Voyager 2000 traces the digital coming-of-age: forming identities, forging friendships, and navigating intimacy beyond stigma and offline barriers.
Celebrating imagination, connection and possibility that technology can offer those too often excluded from traditional spaces, the show features new commissions by emerging artists and works by figures such as Rachel Maclean, Brian Eno, Juliana Huxtable and Eduardo Paolozzi.
