Contemporary artist curates history-spanning collection to animate historic townhouse.
Renowned for her refined use of colour, light and form, Rana Begum brings her distinctive vision to Pallant House Gallery in an exhibition that reimagines the collection, transforming the historic townhouse into a vibrant interplay of geometry, space and material.
Putting key figures such as Barbara Hepworth and Rachel Whiteread into conversation with new work by Zara Ramsay and Asha Vaidyanath, at the heart of the exhibition is No.1367 Mesh (2024), her striking site-specific commission cascading through the building’s central staircase.
