Edek Thompson is an artist adapting the future for climate change, one engineered sausage duck at a time
Edek Thompson is an artist with one foot in the apocalypse, well actually several feet, mostly webbed and at the end of super long legs to deal with the rising tides of climate change. His work is a humorous take on a serious subject. Ed invites you to join him at BasementArtsProject and imagine a post-climate change environment in which humans and animals have evolved to deal with their new circumstances.
Ed produces all of his work using found materials to collage, paint and draw his crazy distortions of the human and animal kingdoms. Over the course of June Ed will be running a series of workshops and inviting you to join him -no artistic experience necessary- in remixing the apocalypse and envisioning a new future for human, dog, duck and crow-kind.
