Join critically acclaimed songwriter Étáin for an immersive, two-hour creative writing workshop.
How do we translate a physical landscape into an invisible feeling? Join critically acclaimed songwriter Étáin for an immersive, two-hour creative writing workshop in the historic grounds of Keats House.
Étáin returns to the very gardens that inspired her song Keats’ Garden from her album The Well, recently acquired by the British Library for its permanent collection. Guided by her unique place-based creative framework, this workshop invites writers of all backgrounds to quiet their inner critics, drop the pressure of perfection and treat the environment as a living prompt.
Through soundscape walks, stream-of-consciousness exercises and focused sensory tracking, you will learn to distill physical details into the emotional core of your work. Whether you are a poet, storyteller, lyricist or dedicated journaler, come prepared to explore place and tap into the creativity it sparks.
The workshop will be followed by a 30-minute performance by Étáin.
