Usually protected beneath a wooden covering, the spectacular encaustic Minton tile floor has only ever been on public display a handful of times.
Wearing our special protective shoe covers, walk across this magnificent mosaic, as your expert Tour Guide brings the Liver Birds, Roman gods, sea nymphs and tridents to life, in vivid detail.
*Visitors with accessibility requirements can access via the Visitor Entrance (opposite the Royal Court)
