Discover a fresh take on a traditional craft in this hands-on weaving workshop
Discover a fresh take on a traditional craft in this hands-on weaving workshop. Working with small loom frames, you’ll create a unique woven piece to take home, using colourful yarns and reclaimed textiles.
Guided by experienced artist Rhona Jack, you’ll learn the fundamentals of weaving while exploring form, texture, and colour. The session encourages creativity through the use of second-hand and overlooked materials, giving new life to scraps and surplus fabrics.
Rhona is a multi-disciplinary artist specialising in sculpture and textile art, with a strong focus on sustainability and reuse.
Workshop times:
10.30am – 12.45pm
2pm – 4.15pm
