We’re delighted to invite you to a special Meet the Maker event with artist Frances Priest, offering a rare opportunity to experience her creative process up close at Blackwell – the Arts & Crafts house.

The event will include an artist-led tour of Frances Priest: Motif | Line | Colour, an open studio-style demonstration in the Guild room, and opportunity to chat with Frances Priest.

Throughout the session, Priest will be working on a clay form, painting and engraving live as she shares insight into her practice. Visitors are welcome to drop in, observe the making process, ask questions, and enjoy informal conversations with the artist in a relaxed setting.

This is a chance to slow down, watch ideas take shape, and gain a deeper understanding of Frances Priest’s distinctive approach to form, colour and pattern.
