Festive adventure for all ages.
Join us this festive season for hands-on family fun at Windermere Jetty Museum. Whether you’re solving clues, decorating a keepsake, or building something brilliant in our interactive play space, there’s plenty to keep young explorers busy during the Christmas holidays.
Festive Raise Dolly Trail
Launch into an interactive adventure around the museum galleries as you work to rescue Dolly the steamboat from the waters of Windermere. Pick up a trail sheet from the front desk and follow the clues, crack puzzles and complete challenges along the way.
Best for ages 7+. Included with museum admission. Members and Annual Pass holders go free.
Decorate a 3D Printed Bauble
Create your own festive decoration to take home. Choose a 3D-printed bauble and personalise it in your own style using the supplies provided. We kindly ask that you provide £2 per bauble on the day to cover the 3d printing costs. Activity will be running on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 December.
Imagination Playground
Our large-scale loose parts formerly used for the Blue Space play area is coming to the Learning Centre between Tuesday 23 December – Sunday 4 January! With blocks, cylinders, chutes, channels and more, children can construct, climb, experiment and invent to their hearts’ content.
