To celebrate Benjamin Britten’s birthday, The Red House and Archive will be open for this special day and guided tours.
Benjamin Britten was born on St Cecilia’s Day, the patron saint of music. Music was his gift, vocation, and part of his identity. Every year The Red House, his former home with Peter Pears, opens to celebrate his birthday. Enjoy a guided tour and a special exhibition in the Archive. Entry on the day is free and includes a celebratory slice of cake.
