Come and experience a private tour of The Red House on a day when the site is closed to the public. Limited to only eight people per tour and lasting 90 minutes, you will be guided through Benjamin Britten and Peter Pears’ house, studio and library; plus a visit to the Archive where you will get a chance to see the gems of the collection.
Please note: Part of the site – upstairs of the house and composition studio – has no level access. Please contact us if you have access needs.

The site is open Thursday to Sunday, 10.30am-4.30pm (last admission 3.30pm).
Refurbishments
Additional offers are available on your visit. They include a tour of the upper rooms of the house (Thu-Sun) and 'Stories from the Archive' (Thu-Fri). Both are available on a first come, first served basis.
