The writings of the extraordinary scholar, the Venerable Bede, shine light on the Anglo Saxon kingdoms. This set of stories developed from his writings concentrate on our local history, telling of Penda founding Mercia and his battles with the rulers of Northumberland, a hidden hoard, and the reason Chad came to Lichfield.
Spaces are limited, so pre-booking is essential. Tickets can be booked online, in person in our Bookshop, or by calling us on 01543 264972. If you can no longer attend your slot, please contact us as soon as possible.
