Join Scunthorpe-born writer Rob Walton for a creative writing workshop looking at some of the issues raised in Annabel McCourt's exhibition, 'I'm Sorry'. We will look at global political issues and personal ones, and examine how writing can help us find out truths about ourselves and the world around us.
Rob's own collection, This Poem Here (Arachne Press, 2021), comprises poems written during the pandemic and shows how the political and personal can be expressed in poetry.
Participants will have the opportunity, if they wish, to share work with the rest of the group in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
