Over the weekend of the 21 & 22 June we are delighted to welcome the History Re-enactment Workshop (HRW) to the Museum who will be demonstrating their Elizabethan Law & Order in the Market Square, in and around Titchfield Market Hall.
On both days they will be performing at 11am and 2pm for approx. 45 minutes, where you can see them re-enact a court session based on historical cases from the time period. The court will be performed as a re-enactment, but with the team stepping out of their roles to talk with the public as you can become immersed in the experience.
The HRW team will be living in North Cray Medieval House over the weekend, with the court sessions taking place in Titchfield Market Hall. You may even find the culprits in the lock up whilst they await trial!
