Description:
Fisher has a daring and unusual method of making works in porcelain. First he throws a 'blank' vessel which he suspends from a hanging turntable. He then stretches the form before pressing it with his hands to produce areas of translucency. The bowl looks like it was spontaneously created, when in fact the process is lengthy and strenous.
