Description:
Mrs Fuseli is portrayed half length, seated three-quarters to the left, her head turned to and eyes looking at the spectator. She wears a high-waisted, low cut, white dress with puffed and embroidered sleeves, elbow-lengh pale lavender gloves, a small cap and long drop earrings. Her hair is short and curly, bound with a dark ribbon.
