Discover the history of Harrow and the people who lived there at Headstone Manor & Museum.

Set in a stunning 14th-century moated manor house, Headstone Manor & Museum explores the history of the London borough of Harrow through the fascinating tales of the people who lived there.

Officially opened in 1986, the museum reopened in 2017 after a period of restoration work allowing visitors to explore even more in the Small Barn, The Granary and the Great Barn as well as the Grade I listed Manor House.

On display in the permanent collections are intriguing items from significant players in Harrow’s local history including Hamilton’s Brushworks, Whitefriars Glass and the famous Kodak camera factory. The museum also hosts a busy schedule of exhibitions, talks, and events for adults and families.

Don’t forget to leave time in your visit to take a stroll around the lovely landscaped gardens and unique medieval moat before stopping for a refreshment in the Moat Café.
