This exhibition has now closed, find out what else is going on at Royal Observatory Greenwich

Discover more about the moons of the Solar System in this photography exhibition.

From our familiar Moon to the lava world of Io, or toxic lakes on Titan, the exhibition showcases the fantastic variety of moons in our Solar System.

Moons are natural satellites that orbit planets, dwarf planets or asteroids. While Earth only has one moon, nearly 200 moons have been discovered so far in our solar system alone. They come in many different shapes and sizes, and some may even harbour extra-terrestrial life.

The exhibition includes 31 illuminated images, an interactive featuring 100 images from NASA’s Cassini-Huygens mission to Saturn, and three films exploring the moons of the Solar System.
