The First World War is explored through art from the Herbert's collection.

To mark the centenary of the end of the First World War in November 1918, the 'Art since 1900' gallery features a display of associated works from the Herbert’s collection.

The display includes work by contemporary artists such as Barbara Walker together with work by artists from the period of the war, including William Roberts and Eric Kennington.
