Guided Tour | Geffrye Museum

Wednesday 21 September 2016 - 11:00

A comprehensive visit to discover how homes have changed over the past 400 years by taking an audio guided tour of the eleven period rooms spanning 1600 to the present day. Also visit the restored 18th century almshouse, which provides a glimpse into the lives of London’s poor in the 1780s and 1880s and receive a lecture on English homes, focusing on the decorative arts. In addition, you are free to enjoy the tranquillity of The Geffrye Museum’s period gardens.

This event has been organised by the Essex Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
