Artes Mundi Exhibition and Prize

Talk and Tour |

16 October 2012
4 December 2012 - 10:10 until 11:30

The prestigious Artes Mundi international biennial exhibition and prize, held at the National Museum of Wales, recognises artists who work with social themes and the 'Human Condition'.

We have two exclusive tours; the first overviews the competition and the second focuses on the winner's merits.

Artistic Director Ben Borthwick will discuss selected works in relation to the Artes Mundi initiative, which aims to encourage the understanding and enjoyment of contemporary are whilst stimulating debate through the exchange of ideas between Wales and the world. Coffee and conversation with Ben Borthwick follows the tour.

There is an additional option of lunch on 4th December for £18.00 per person for 2 courses.

This event has been organised by a local supporter group to help raise money for the Art Fund.
