Visit: Middle Temple
16 – 24 November 2010
The Middle Temple is one of the four Inns of Court which have the exclusive right to call men and women to the Bar. Its history goes back to the middle of the 14th century and its members have included many famous names over the years.
This visit will start with a guided tour of the Inn and its art, and conclude with a buffet lunch served in the Great Hall which is perhaps the finest example of an Elizabethan Hall in England. Begun in 1562, and the scene of the first performance of Twelfth Night in 1602, it is still the centre of the Inn's life, extensively used by lawyers for formal or informal dining.
Please note that for this event there are two different dates to choose from: either 16th or 24th November.
