Visit: Jupiter Artland

| Jupiter Artland

Friday 25 June 2010 - 09:30 until 14:30

Jupiter Artland is the name which Robert and Nicky Wilson have given to the sculpture park they have created in the 80-acre grounds of Bonnington House, the Jacobean manor they bought in 1999.

They have commissioned works from a number of artists including Ian Hamilton Finlay, Antony Gormley and Charles Jencks. The park was opened in 2009, and this year more works have been added by Turner Prize nominated artists Nathan Coley, Jim Lambie and Cornelia Parker. The site for each work was chosen by its individual creator, and a walk through the estate opens up some surprising vistas.

Nicky Wilson will give a welcoming talk about her vision for the project and this will be followed by a tour of the exhibits.
