Save Hepworth's sculpture for everyone - Terms and conditions

  1. Your donation will be processed and administered by the National Art Collections Fund, operating as the Art Fund, a charity registered in England and Wales (209174) and Scotland (SC038331).

  2. Donations made in response to the 2025 Summer Art Quarterly and through our website from 6 June 2025 until 27 August 2025 will be used towards helping The Hepworth Wakefield acquire Sculpture with Colour (Oval Form) Pale Blue and Red. They will be restricted to this use only unless:

    1. The Hepworth Wakefield is unable to acquire Sculpture with Colour (Oval Form) Pale Blue and Red for any reason, including raising insufficient funds within the relevant timeframe; or

    2. we or The Hepworth Wakefield raise more funds than are required to purchase Sculpture with Colour (Oval Form) Pale Blue and Red. In which case your donation will be used by Art Fund to support The Hepworth Wakefield in other ways, which may include future acquisitions, exhibitions, tours, charitable projects or conservation work.

  3. By making a donation – whether online at artfund.org/hepworth, by post using the form enclosed with the 2025 Summer Art Quarterly, or by telephone in response to the 2025 Summer Art Quarterly letter – you confirm that you agree to these terms and conditions.

  4. You must not use borrowed, stolen, or forged payment methods to make your donation. Should you do so, you agree to accept full responsibility for such action and to indemnify the Art Fund in respect of all actions, claims, damages, liability, fees, costs and expenses whatsoever that arise as a result of your actions.

  5. If you have contributed a gift of £1,000 and above your name will be acknowledged at The Hepworth Wakefield during when the sculpture is publicly displayed for the first time. Art Fund will contact you once the campaign has ended to confirm acknowledgment details, or whether you would prefer to remain anonymous.

  6. Any funds recovered through Gift Aid will be applied to the cause, subject also to clause 2 above.

  7. Donations of £10,000 or more cannot be processed online. Please contact Scarlett Millar in Art Fund’s Development team on development@artfund.org or call 020 7225 4843.

  8. Art Fund will process your personal data in accordance with data protection legislation. Any personal data that is provided to us in the course of any transaction with you shall be processed in accordance with the Art Fund’s Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy.

  9. Art Fund is not responsible for the content of third party websites.
