Painting of Monmouth and Troy House. Henry Somerset, 3rd Marquess of Worcester, employed Hendrik Danckerts to paint this view of the Monmouth estates, the only surviving oil by the artist of a Welsh subject.The painting depicts three buildings subsequently altered by the Somersets: Troy House; Monmouth Castle and St Mary's parish church.
