This early ceramic piece by the Turner Prize-winning artist is in the form of a perfume bottle decorated with drip glazes and poppy seed heads. An inscription in French translates as ‘Reminiscence/Perfume of the Mistresses’. A transfer of Renoir’s Luncheon of the Boating Party (1881) accompanies the words.
