Drawn by the artist at the age of eight. This work is one of seven purchased at the Christie's sale held in aid of the British Red Cross Society. Miss Julia Reckitt donated the sum of £50 and the Art Fund purchased the works and distributed them to seven public institutions including the British Museum, Tate, Birmingham and Manchester.
