Pair of three-light candelabra

Coalport Porcelain Factory, 1820–1824

A pair of three-light candelabra, each candelabrum moulded with three sockets of tulip shape on foliate drip pan, supported on flamboyant body built from moulded sections of rococo cartouche form and a circular watch-stand shape, embellished with applied flowers, on rococo base with scrolled feet. Turqouise enamel and rich gilding, the applied flowers painted in pastel enamel colours.
