Brian Rice, 1969

Two screenprints made by artist Brian Rice in London in the late 1960s. Rice trained in Yeovil and at Goldsmiths College, London, and became influential as a printmaker in the Pop Art movement. He is also known for his bold abstract paintings. The two prints now join Rice’s later work Exeter 1996 at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum & Art Gallery.
