Mantel clock

Benjamin Vulliamy, Derby Porcelain Factory, 1806

George III ormolu mounted white marble mantle clock decorated with Derby porcelain biscuit figures. The reeded plinth with rounded corners is mounted with an allegorical scene of navigation and astronomy. The white enamelled dial is surmounted by an ormolu-turned finial with a circular Wedgewood plaque below.
