Golders Green & The Downs from Litlington
Hugh Bellingham Smith, late 19th–early 20th century
In 2004 the Art Fund completed its first fully comprehensive audit and in the process discovered a small number of previously unrecorded items including these works. The works had formed part of larger collections presented through the Art Fund and the museums concerned did not report their details to us at the time they were donated. One of twenty seven gifts to seven museums by A E Anderson through the Art Fund between 1922 and 1938.
