Housed in an old chapel, Whitchurch Heritage Centre uncovers the town's history, from Roman times to present day.
The main exhibition hall celebrates the work of Whitchurch clockmaking firm JB Joyce which was established in the town in 1690. There is also a section dedicated to Roman and medieval history with a number of interesting finds and hands-on activities. The Caldecott Gallery celebrates illustrator Randolph Caldecott (who once worked in the town) and the Whitchurch-born musician Edward German.
