The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery
With a National Art Pass you get
Devoted to the history of The Potteries, the museum has the world’s greatest collection of Staffordshire ceramics as well as displays of the fine and decorative arts.
Items from the famous Staffordshire Hoard are on display in the Kingdom of Mercia Gallery, along with other pieces from the museum's Anglo-Saxon collections, offering a glimpse into the daily life of our ancestors.
Other displays explore the social history, landscape and geology of the Potteries, and include a Second World War Spitfire. The art collection includes prints by European and Japanese artists from the 16th century to the present day and oil paintings by leading British artists.
