Home to many of the objects and specimens that are not currently on display in National Museums Scotland's museums.
Two new buildings provide state-of-the-art conservation laboratories and enhanced storage for the national collections. Visits are by appointment only. Alternative arrangements may be made to view objects at one of National Museums Scotland's sites subject to the availability of staff to assist.
