With a National Art Pass you get
Travel through history at Nantclwyd y Dre in Ruthin, a historic house and garden with many stories to tell.
From the medieval period to the 20th century, journey through 500 years of history in the beautifully resorted Grade I listed house, Nantclwyd y Dre.
Explore a historic house
Travel through time in this unique historic house which reveals the lives of its former residents over the centuries. Start in 1435, where you'll learn how the building expanded from a weaver's hall house and into a 17th-century townhouse, and then into a Victorian school for young girls.
Unwind in the garden
The Lord' Garden offers a calming space with lush greenery and stunning views of the neighbouring Ruthin Castle and the Clwydian Range. Plus, fruits harvested from the garden are transformed into tasty jams and chutneys which can be purchased from the gift shop.
