The National Art Pass lets you enjoy free entry to hundreds of museums, galleries and historic places across the UK, while raising money to support them.
A bold new gallery of modern and contemporary art, first opened in January 2007, MIMA brings together Middlesbrough's art collections and hosts temporary exhibitions of fine art and craft from 1900 to the present.
Featuring the work of internationally acclaimed artists, exhibitions are free and change throughout the year. There is a wide range of events alongside the exhibitions, including talks, tours, workshops and creative family sessions. mima is one of five UK venues awarded £1 million by the Art Fund to build their collections of international contemporary art over a five-year period.
